About RTM (Road to Minors)

RTM is a tournament series that provides a pathway for amateur players to qualify for one of BKPT’s Minor League Pickleball (MiLP) DUPR 12-20 rosters. Gotham Pickleball is currently the exclusive venue for BKPT RTM tournaments. The top performing players (within each DUPR band) during the RTM Series will be awarded a number of benefits:

  • Points leaders (top man and woman in each DUPR band) at the end of May 2026 will receive free VIP tickets to the summer MLP event in NYC
  • Top 4 Points leaders at the end of September 2026 will receive a free registration for BKPT MiLP tryouts for the 26-27 MLP season
  • Points leaders (top man and woman in each DUPR band) at the end of September will receive a free 1-year membership to the BKPT MiLP roster regardless of tryout performance. If these individuals make the A-team in their DUPR band, they will receive a $300 travel stipend for MiLP tournaments.

RTM Points will be awarded according the following schedule:

  • 8-10 team sections: 1st (100 points), 2nd (70 points), 3rd (40 points), 4th (20 points)
  • 6-7 team sections: 1st (70 points), 2nd (40 points), 3rd (20 points)
  • 4-5 team sections: 1st (40 points), 2nd (20 points)

BKPT Minor League Roster Benefits: BKPT DUPR 12-20 Rosters will train together, represent BKPT in the community and at local tournaments, help build the Brooklyn Pickleball Team from ground up and gear up for MiLP Nationals that will take place in Dallas, TX December 3-7 and the first ever 2026 MLP New York Minor League Showcase against other MLP Minor League teams in Summer 2026.

  • Access to BKPT coaches and front office
